The Sissel Trisectional Hot & Cold Pack can be used for hot and cold therapy ideal for sports injury recovery and pain relief from other injuries . The three segments of the Trisectional pack are designed to conform to the many joints of the body prone to injury including the ankles, knees, shoulders, and neck. Each pack is filled with an innovative biodegradable gel that is designed to hold heat or cold longer.
As a cold therapy pack, the Trisectional is best used immediately following an injury. The pack can be stored in the freezer and will stay soft, pliable and frost free. The cold therapy process will decrease the diameter of the blood vessels, thus reducing the flow of blood and reducing swelling.
As a heat therapy pack, the pack is generally used for chronic injuries or injuries that have no inflammation or swelling. Sore, stiff, nagging muscle or joint pain is ideal for the use of heat therapy. Heat can also help relax tight or spasmed muscles.. Heat increases blood flow and makes connective tissue more flexible.
Cool the Hot and Cold Pac in the refrigerator, or heat it up in the microwave.
